How the simulator works.

The Vectra 3D Imaging System as well as the Mirror® and Face Sculptor® software have been developed by Canfield Scientific, a global pioneer in medical and surgical imaging systems.

  • First, a 3D image of the patient’s face is captured, which takes less than a minute.
  • Then, using the special software, a 3D simulation of the final result is shown on the screen.

Rhinoplasty from every angle.

During the simulation the surgeon can show the patient the result of two angles at the same time, a before-and-after comparison, the result of two or more operations in combination, as well as much more, depending on the case.

Diamond Ultrasonic Rhinoplasty.

The most advanced rhinoplasty technology uses ultrasound vibrations. The piezo system, also known as ultrasonic or diamond rhinoplasty system, launched globally in 2014 and was brought to Greece in 2017 by Dr. Mireas, a leading practitioner who also trains other surgeons in the use of the new technology.

Can I say how I imagine my nose to be? How will a 3D simulation help?

Thanks to Canfield Scientific’s M3 3D Imaging System you will not only be able to explain to the surgeon what bothers you about your nose and what you would like to change, but you will also be able to see the changes you want and your various options in a 3D image on screen.

Will the simulation be the same as the result of the actual rhinoplasty?

An image alone is not enough. The experience of the surgeon who will guide you is fundamental in advising you properly and performing the operation to create an attractive, functional nose.

The image that you and your surgeon create together on the screen will be extremely close to the result of your surgery.

Can I bring in a photo of a nose I like and see how it would look on my face? For example, if I want Kim Kardashian's nose can I see it in the simulation?

Just as in actual surgery, we cannot copy-paste a nose and insert it onto your own face in the simulation.

During the simulation we can change the shape of the nose and see it from many angles. But first and foremost, it is a simulation of your own nose, your own face, and its specific features. After all, just because a nose suits one person perfectly that doesn’t mean that it will suit someone else. Our main goal is that the result of your surgery should not look fake. It should look attractive and functional, without it even being noticeable that you have had an operation.
